The Overcomers Taekwondo
"Her grades are the highest they've ever been!" E.H.
"Wait til next marking period, I'll be on the honor roll too!" E.C.
"I didn't know martial arts could reinforce our Christian values" S.F.
"It's great having an instructor that really cares about what he does outside of class too" K.K.
The statements above are just a few that I've received.  They are the reason I started "The Overcomers".
I wanted to help our youth realize that with God there was nothing they couldn't overcome- whether it's grades,
temper, peers, or low self-esteem.  They will surpass their pasts and presents, while looking forward to successful
and loving futures.

It's all about inviting God into our community.  One way to do that is to teach our children to follow Jesus Christ in mind
body and soul.  We help our children develop a sense of responsibility.  First, helping them realize they can and
should make the difference in their own lives.  Then, helping them realize they should make the difference in their
communities.  An Overcomer sets the example for his/her peers by doing community service, stepping up to correct
wrongs, and doing his/her best at all times.

Children aren't the only ones welcome to join us.  It's very exciting learning together as a family.  The family that
plays and prays together, stays together.  We offer a discount for families of three or more.

May peace remain within us all,

                                                             Mrs. Sybil
